The fusion of beer and Hasselt grain jenever produced surprising and sophisticated results. Infusing Herkenrode Cister with Fryns jenever, the Fryns Vieux Systeme, has created a unique taste experience that combines the spciy, botanical notes of the jenever with the refreshing, malty flavours of the Herkenrode Cister. This harmonious combination highlights the freshness of the beer and creates an extra complex and sophisticated finish.

헤르켄로드 수도원은 가족 회사인 브루어리 코넬리센과 프린스 증류소를 이어주는 연결고리입니다. 2008년 헤르켄로드 수도원과 브루어리 코넬리센이 협업을 시작하여 2009년 헤르켄로드 트리펠과 브륀을 론칭하였고, 2024년 협업 15주년을 맞이하였습니다.
2021년 브루어리 코넬리센은 헤르켄로드 수도원과 협으로 헤르켄로드 슬레도른 리큐르와 헤르켄로드 허벌 엘릭서를 만드는 프린스 증류소와 파트너쉽을 체결하였습니다. 2024년, 브루어리 코넬리센은 창업 165주년 그리고 프린스 증류소는 135주년을 맞이하였습니다. 이에 림브루 지역의 장인정신의 역사 300년을 기념하고자 하셀트의 제네버가 블랜딩된 헤르켄로드 수동원 맥주인 헤르켄로드 칸토르를 한정 생산 하였습니다.
Herkenrode Abbey is a common acquaintance of the two family businesses. In 2008, the collaboration between Herkenrode vzw and Brouwerij Cornelissen began, resulting in the launch of Herkenrode Tripel and Herkenrode Bruin in 2009, which are now celebrating 15-year anniversary.
In 2021, we partnered with Fryns Distillery, which led to the creation of Herkenrode Sleedoorn liqueur and Herkenrode Herbal Elixir. This year we celebrating Cornelissen Brewery's 165th anniversary, while at Distillery Fryns they are celebrating their 135th anniversary. So that makes us celebrate a combined 300 years of Limburg craftmanship, which procvided the perfect oppertunity for a special launch; a limited edition Herkenrode beer infused with Hasselt jenever.

Our special creation, the Herkenrode Cantor, is a limited edition. To make this product extra unique and meaningful, a number of bottles have been numbered and packaged in a beautiful gift box. These numbered bottles will be released to selected ambassadors on three different occasions.
